UNSIGNED BANDS PROMOTER, GET GIGS in MACCLESFIELD AND MANCHESTER - Maccattack Promotions! - About Maccattack Promotions! Maccattack Promotions was formed in 2000 to promote up and coming Macclesfield Bands, with original material, to live music fans. At the time there was a need for quality promotion of such talent, and through residency at The Underground Club, George Hotel, Macclesfield, Maccattack Promotions achieved this. Maccattack also regularly promoted bands at the former Bar Cuba in Macclesfield, and at The Star and Garter in Manchester. Following the closure of The Underground on New Years Eve 2002, Maccattack lay dormant, until in 2004 there again existed a need in Macclesfield for promotion of unsigned talent. We were resident at Beba - The Music Bar in Macclesfield from July 2004 - Jan 2006, running our Unsigned Bands night, an Open Mic acousitc night, and "The Alt" an alternative rock night. The management at Beba shared Maccattack's vision of recognition for local music, and through this alliance we once again propelled Macclesfield's music scene to new levels.
